Welcome to Colleen Bedard our new office manager
I have been a Realtor since 1994 successfully selling real estate in Portland, South Portland, and our surrounding communities. At Townsend Real Estate, home, life, and art come together in a way that makes buying or selling a home comfortable and relaxed. You can feel confident that as a broker with experience pricing, marketing and negotiating home purchases and sales, I will develop a plan for you that will ensure that you to reach your goals.
My education and credentials include holding an MBA from Simmons College in Boston as well as being a Member of the National Association of Realtors, Maine Board of Realtors, Greater Portland Board of Realtors, and the Maine Multiple Listing Service.
My second passion after real estate is art. I am Director of the Society for East End Arts and on the Board of Directors for the Maine Crafts Association. I have attended Haystack Mountain and Penland School of Crafts. I enjoy print making and designing jewelry with glass beads that I have made using a torch. I actively support Creative Portland and 2 Degrees Portland.
Being involved and giving back to my community is a top priority for me. I am a founder of Friends of the Eastern Promenade as well as the Society for East End Arts. I am past President of the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Organization and past Treasurer for the Portland Arts & Cultural Alliance. I have lived in South Portland, Scarborough, and Gorham and currently reside on Munjoy Hill on the Portland Peninsula.
In addition to management Colleen will continue to work with her buyers and sellers. Click here to read more about Colleen and view her listings. Colleen can be contacted at CBedard@TownsendRE.com.
